Save the Date…and Call for Submissions: Jean Gebser Society annual conference 2023
Jean Gebser Society annual conference at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, September 27-30, 2023
Last year marked the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sri Aurobindo, a key integral thinker, so the Gebser Society is convening to integrate the work of integral thinkers, particularly those whom Gebser mentions (Aurobindo, Jung, and Teilhard de Chardin)—or at least question whether that is possible!
We are calling for papers that look at various ways of expressing integrality, what gets in the way of integrality (such as AI designed to divide us), and threads between and among the approaches of those four thinkers. Presenters and spectators can choose to participate by Zoom or in person.
It is not necessary to be a Gebser scholar; we welcome all who are exploring his ideas or applying them in your own field. As always, the Gebser Society welcomes artistic expressions of integrality. For more information about submitting a proposal, visit https://gebser.org/cpa-2023-conference/
Conference registration and other details to come soon!

This is shaping up to be a powerful conference occurring on a week of conferences celebrating the 150th anniversary of Sri Aurobindo’s birth. Debashish Banerji has agreed to do a keynote address for the second conference.
Welcome, @gapwriter1! That is good to hear about Debashish’s keynote.
I am interested in attending, but money may be tight and I am concerned about the cost of lodging in the city. Do you happen to know if any attendees would be, perhaps, going in together on an AirBnB or some other kind of arrangement to save costs?
I might like to give a talk on how Gebser and Aurobindo have informed and inspired the Co-op we’ve been co-creating, through the various reading and practice groups we’ve devoted to their work.
