Brian Westerlind

Brian Westerlind lives and creates in Western Massachusetts. His writing has appeared in The Spotlong Review and Bait/Switch.

Through much of his creative work, Brian explores language as a medium that may or may not carry meaning. Both powerful and inert, language is a space for meaning, nothingness, creativity, and play. Brian brings these ideas into his work as a mindfulness and meditation facilitator, showing students how awareness of thoughts, beliefs, and emotions—woven through language—creates and can ultimately transform our ways of being.
