Susan Evans

Susan H. Evans is an East Tennessee writer and English professor, published in both print and on-line. The poem is inspired by a Norwegian folktale. The image of the white bear represents a spirit messenger and guide, encouraging the reader to summon courage to take action without fear, and to endure through adversity.
